Weatherization Assistance Program's Grantee Training Practitioner Cohort Application

Completed applications are due by 5 p.m. PST on March 17, 2021.
What To Expect
The WAP Grantee Training Practitioner Cohort will provide input on training needs, content detail, and the draft courses. With program knowledge and experience, this group of subject matter experts (SMEs) will help make the training accessible and meaningful to the grantee audience. For examples of previously developed subgrantee online trainings, see the WAP Learning Management System.
Tasks for the WAP Grantee Training Practitioner Cohort include:
- Refine and prioritize a list of tasks performed to manage weatherization programs effectively and efficiently
- Provide input on training content, including providing specific and detailed examples for practice and explanation
- Provide relevant images and graphics to be used in the training (as your copyright allows)
- Review and provide written feedback on draft training and resources, and
- Take the pilot training in the NREL learning management system and provide feedback.
Participants will be asked to commit to spending approximately 50–100 hours on the project from March 2021 through April 2022. The level of effort will vary depending on the phase of the project and is expected to average 1–2 hours per week throughout the project period.
This project is also seeking participation of 2–4 lead SMEs who can carve out extra time and take a more proactive role in content development. Lead SMEs will work with the project team to obtain resources, confirm details, and help generate scenarios that will be vetted by the larger group. This additional time commitment is expected to be 4–10 hours per month over the content development part of the project and will be compensated.
